Settling down in a personal cubicle in the library’s quiet section, you reach into your backpack and grab the usual: pencils, paper, textbook. Then you see your iPod. This is the moment of truth. Do you need your music to study? You either grab the device or opt to leave it where it is; saving your listening time for when you’re running down South Avenue or lounging after school. For some, studying with music is a vital component.
With Thursday November 10th marking the start of CIAC playoff play for most teams, the Rams looked to get off on the right foot in the early rounds of the tournament. Each earning a home game, the volleyball and girls soccer teams fought for big first round wins to advance in their respective brackets.

As we further integrate technology into more aspects of our everyday lives, there is no denying the effect the internet has on our lives. The Internet contains millions of sites today, including everything from online shopping to fan pages to chat rooms. In the United States, Facebook is the number one social networking site. While Facebook is generally user friendly, its applications are often confused and interpreted differently.
Steve Jobs died on October 5, 2011 at the premature age of 56, after battling pancreatic cancer for eight years. Jobs dedicated his life to the development of technology and was most commonly known as the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Apple Inc. Though Jobs resigned as CEO of Apple six weeks before his death, he continuously worked and contributed throughout his illness to release the advancements of the iPod, iPhone, iPad, iTunes, and Mac computers.

I literally cannot think of a more annoying creature than the squirrel. Maybe it’s the fact that I’ve grown up in a town where these lil’ gremlins can be found every five feet, or maybe it’s the fact that they gypsy all of the bird seed my dad puts out for more respectable fauna such as cardinals- but boy do I hate them.
