Students voice confusion over strictly enforced driving rules
Thwarted in their attempts to go off campus, many juniors such as Emily have now voiced complaint amongst each other over the “new driving rules”. However, according to assistant principal, Dr. Veronica LeDuc, “The rules regarding parking and driving privileges have been in place for over a decade.”
Pep Rally MCs continued to bring the homecoming spirit

On Oct. 18-21, students celebrated homecoming week by dressing up in crazy costumes for each spirit day, which led up to the much anticipated pep rally at 1:15 p.m. in the gym at the end of the week. While students were in the stands decked in red and black, the pep rally’s MCs, Seniors Bobby Distler and Sarah Mannelly, were getting everybody ready for the Homecoming game against St.Joes on the 22.
Local farmers congregate at fall market

Between May 14th to November 19th, New Canaan’s Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This past Saturday, we both made a visit to the Farmers Market location in the Old Center School Parking Lot in downtown to check out the different stands and of course sample offerings.
FCIAC Playoffs: Runs end for soccer teams, field hockey; Volleyball advances

Last week’s freak October snowstorm wreaked havoc in the FCIAC tournament schedules for most fall sports. With school resuming this past Wednesday, the boy’s and girl’s soccer teams looked to move on in the FCIAC playoffs and the field hockey team battled Norwalk in the quarterfinals.
