As we have talked about again, and again, Student Coalition is very focused on our Music Video. The Outback Teen Center’s response to student intoxication at the Rave held on Monday, March 7, has been to create a task force with the primary aim of reviewing Outback policies. The dance was shut down by the police at 9:30 pm, an hour and a half earlier than planned, and resulted in one arrest and two hospitalizations.
Rather than the typical mother-daughter charity league that can be found throughout the country, the Service League of Boys (SLOBs) of New Canaan is comprised of sons and parents of both sexes. Equally unique, SLOBs’ board of representatives is made up of both adolescents and adults, where sons and parents share leadership positions and attend meetings together.
