Guest speaker talks about “Freedom Riders”
On Monday, John Seigenthaler was a guest speaker at an assembly during E period. The topic of discussion was Freedom Riders and Seigenthaler’s participation in the Civil Rights movement. Seigenthaler was hospitalized when he tried to help Freedom Rider Susan Wilbur, who was being chased by an angry mob.
