I had absolutely no interest in doing YG at the beginning of my junior year. I had spoken to dozens of YG “fish” who claimed their February mission trip with the Congregationalist Church of NC to be the most rewarding and life-changing ten days of their lives…but I was still not intrigued. Why would I want to give up ten days of tanning in the Bahamas to refurnish Hurricane Katrina destroyed homes? Please, someone tell me.

We’ve all heard the jokes and read the tweets, but to what extent is the “bubble of New Canaan” a true title? For years our community has been stereotyped as an inaccurate representation of what others believe to be the real world, all based upon preconceived beliefs of everyone being rich and somehow morphing into the same kind of person.

After getting kicked off the academic decathlon team, Spence went fifty shades of CRAY, by totally alienating herself from her friends. Hotty-nerd boy Andrew paid Spencer a little visit, playing a game of strip-trivia…? While Wren (yes the british doc made a return!) prescribed this little liar with dinner and a movie, until Spencer tried to kill Mona off PLL. Good try, Hastings. *Sigh*

Between the size of the team, the fact that practices are held off campus and a lack of youth feeder programs, it’s no wonder that New Canaan High School gymnastics is unknown by most students. What is most unknown, however, is how much effort the gymnasts exert on a daily basis.
