5 high school girls, 14 days of quarantine. In this podcast we discuss E-learning, the effects of block-scheduling, homework, and our mental health during these seemingly never ending days. Quarantine is not quite the way we planned on spending our November, so we reflect on how we first felt when we received the news. Whether we’ve been watching re-runs of Grey’s Anatomy or catching up on our notes for history class, we all agree on one thing: that time is abundant. We are no longer spending hours at the pool or the dance studio after school. While the extra time certainly helps with our schoolwork, we’re fearful that we may end up going back to watch Tiger King or to taking family walks like we did in early April. With over 200 kids at NCHS quarantined and cohort learning resumed, we’re all hopeful that this pandemic will come to an end soon.
