Staff Report

The annual Senior Art Show “Departure” will open tomorrow night with a student-run grand opening from 6-8. Seniors could either contribute 12-15 pieces of art to the exhibit as a collection of their favorite pieces or submit 1-3 pieces of art instead. The portraits, logo, name, food, set-up, disassembly, and mailing for the show were all organized by the participants.

Senior Izzy Scandiffio shared the significance that this final exhibit has for the artists. “The show is important to us because it gives us a chance to show off everything that we’ve worked so hard to create over our four years of high school,” she said. “It’s an accomplishment for a lot of us and we want to be able to get feedback on it from the rest of the school.”

This year’s participants are Max Aliapoulios, Christian Atherton, Katherine Barymow, Alex Borderlon, Griffin Driscoll, Molly Fox, Nicole Giusti, Isabel Glatthorn, Karen Grace, Abby Hersam, Katy Ho, Abby Hoelzer, Annie Horstmeyer, Lauren Jansen, Cameron Lancaster, Carolina Lizzio, Paget Millard, Katherine Moncure, Andrea Mullaney, Dylan Neuhaus, Megan Paul, Ali Rigo, Isabella Scandiffio, Jackie Slemp, Danielle Sorcher, Kellen Tensen and Gwen Van de Graaf.
