The Rams are back to their old ways.

After striding past Farmington in the state quarterfinals on December 3rd with a wipeout of 46-0, the Rams headed out to Milford on Saturday, December 7th, to take on North Haven. They again won the match-up 17-0, securing their place in the state finals.

The points came from junior Alex LaPolice, who had the first score of the game, sophomore Peter Swindell, who added three points with a 30 yard field goal, and senior Morgan Carson. Quarterback Nick Cascione threw for the TD to LaPolice and totalled 205 passing yards. Offensively, the Rams tallied a total of 462 yards.

The defensive performance was evident from both the score and the domination of the offense. The Rams defense allowed no scores this game, making it their second no-score game in the state playoffs. Senior defensemen Alex Dobbin and Mike Dicosmo helped the defensive performance with Alex recovering a fumble and Dicosmo with an interception.
