Unless you’ve been living in a hole for the past month you’ve heard the infectious bad girl anthem “Tik Tok” by Ke$ha on every radio station. With a sweet live performance on Ellen yesterday, Kesha proved that she isn’t all-electronic edits and has a voice of her own.

Looking at the song list pre-order on iTunes right before Tik Tok hit the top tens with titles such as “Your Love is my Drug”, “Party at a Rich Dudes House”, and “Dinosaur”, it looked like a one hit wonder was about to happen. Choir students hit high note in London

Over the recent holiday break, 37 NCHS students and 4 chaperones traveled to London England to take part in the London International Choir Festival.

The group of students from both the Concert Choir and Madrigals was invited to take place in this prestigious festival, which brought together choirs from around the world. Students were given music to prepare in advance, and once in London they participated in a series of rehearsals and performances alongside students from Virginia, Nebraska, London, and other locations around Europe. While in London, the NCHS students also performed with just their group for a total of three rehearsals and three concerts over the course of the 8-day stay…

What’s Poppin’ December

In writing this I attempted to keep track of all the new mistresses that Tiger Woods had been with, as new ones appeared every day. I lost count after five. This man, or should I say international icon, was literally on top of the world. A smoking hot wife in former Swedish model Elin Nordegren, more money then any one man needs, worth nearly $900 million, two beautiful children and endorsement deals from several top companies including Nike and Gatorade, he had everything. Or so we thought. A simple case of reckless driving combined with a report from the National Inquirer has sent Tiger’s life into a tailspin, destroying his marriage in the process.

You have a history test next period that you didn’t study for because your basketball team didn’t get back from Staples until late last night.
