With spring always comes change, and the Rams are experiencing their fair share of it. Due to coaches being offered different opportunities, Athletic Director Jay Egan has been left with the challenge to fill coaching positions in multiple sports.
Along with the alliteration, the second semester senior slump is being seen all throughout the halls of NCHS. As the weather warms up, work ethic and motivation is cooling down. To all you underclassmen: be jealous, and to the teachers: beware.

With the conclusion of online course registration for the 2013-2014 school year, next year’s juniors and seniors may have seen that the science department will be offering three new courses to them this fall. The new courses include forensics, human anatomy and physiology and AP environmental science. All of these courses will be electives and will be available to upperclassmen based on previous science courses taken.

The NCHS varsity ski team raced to victory at Mt. Southington on Mar. 11, placing first at States. With juniors Jeffrey Cole and Wilson Fleming along with senior captain Courtney Cole receiving All-State First Team Honors, the team, 3 time Class M state champions, once again proved their skill.

Every year, the front lobby displays five unique galleries that all showcase student work. The “Charged” gallery, which opens Wed., Apr. 3, is no exception. Exhibiting pieces that exemplify energy through movement and artistic technique, this student run show promises to energize its viewers.
