Coffee House brings more than a cup of joe

After being forced to postpone because of an impending snowstorm, the Charity Link club was able to host their second annual Coffee House event on Wednesday, Mar. 20 to raise money for Sandy Hook Elementary School. The night was full of coffee, baked goods and a long list of performances to entertain those who came to the event.

Why you should come to Career Night

Students will get a chance to learn about potential careers, make business connections and network with professionals on Career Night, Mar. 27 at the high school from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Upon arrival, students will receive brief bios of the speakers presenting as well as the industries being represented. Students will attend two, 45 minute sessions, starting at 7:15. Snacks for the night will also be generously provided by Pepsi.

Annual Tech Night continues tradition

For seven years, New Canaan Public Schools’ annual Tech Night has provided an opportunity for students to connect with their passion for technology and show off their technological abilities. On Feb. 26, 2013, this esteemed tradition continued. This year’s Tech Night hosted more than 50 student-run extracurricular and school-related technology projects from grades K-12. The event is meant to act as an expedient for students and educators alike to exhibit how technology enhances and inspires learning.
