Coffee House brings more than a cup of joe

After being forced to postpone because of an impending snowstorm, the Charity Link club was able to host their second annual Coffee House event on Wednesday, Mar. 20 to raise money for Sandy Hook Elementary School. The night was full of coffee, baked goods and a long list of performances to entertain those who came to the event.

Fairy tales gone epic

Even though the fairy tales we read in our parents’ laps were not actually the originals (ask Dr. Schneider to show you the disturbing, real “Little Red Riding Hood,”) we remember them as the dreams-come-true stories written for innocent children. So how did “Hansel and Gretel” and “Jack and the Beanstalk” go from pre-K adventures to epic R/PG-13 movies?

I may not have a Tumblr, but I’ve seen enough to know what the average teenage girl’s account contains: inspirational/funny quotes, One Direction gifs and really cute clothes that don’t seem to exist anywhere at Forever 21. While Wanelo Shopping may not be able to get Harry Styles to show up at your doorstep, this popular app can definitely bring those unique, Tumblr-worthy clothes to your closet.
