After three touchdowns and 121 total yards against Wilton last week, Kevin jumped to the fourth most overall career TD’s in NCHS history with 17. This past Friday, November 5th, Kevin did not fail to entertain, receiving four touchdowns, including a 71 yard pick six against Greenwich. Kevin is the athlete of the week for his performance against Greenwich on both sides of the ball.

What was the biggest play of the game?

The biggest play of the game was probably the first series defensively. We set the tone for the rest of the game by shutting them down from the start. We used this momentum to spark our offense and get a big win.

What were you thinking after you made the interception?

After I made the catch, I saw one player and I knew it was going to be a foot race. Coincidentally, [the player i saw]beat me last year in the 100-meter dash in track and field FCIACs, but this time I was able to get past him for the touchdown.

What have been your team’s biggest successes this year?

I would say stopping the run has been our biggest success this year. Last year everyone’s knock on us was that we couldn’t stop the run, so this year we wanted to prove a point.

What are you goals for the rest of the season?

We are looking to win another state championship, and hopefully get ourselves back into contention for the FCIACs.
