Annual Turkey Drive is in full swing

Hello students,

This is the first post for the Student Coalition’s Courant 2011 blog! Every two weeks, new information will be posted about current events and other projects that your student government is doing.

This past Tuesday, November 15, was a big day for the Turkey Drive. For twenty years, the NCHS Student Coaltion has held the Turkey Drive to raise money for the Faifield County Foodbank during Thanksgiving time. Since we’ve done it for so long, they depend on our donation every year. Right now, there is only $754.18 collected and our goal this year is at least $1,500. It’s ending this Thursday, November 17, and we’re only half way there! so please BRING IN YOUR SPARE CHANGE and give it to one of the representatives carrying around coffee cans for the Turkey Drive.

Other than that, we’ve sent out thank-you notes to everyone involved with the Homecoming festivities and are excited for more to come.

Thanks for reading, and if you have any complaints or recommendations for StuCo, talk to any of your class’ delegates or class presidents.
