This blog is oriented around the idea that it is important to have motivation and a purpose for every day, especially during quarantine. Every other day, there will be a focus and message for the day. The goal is to live each day with this concept in the back of your head so that you can feel productive and uplifted throughout the rest of quarantine.

Day 7: Emotions

More often rather than not, we don’t feel comfortable sharing our emotions. We often get really worked up about things and we either cry about it and move on or we ignore whatever it was that was causing us to feel that way. When it comes to getting over that sad feeling, I think it is best that we recognize what we are feeling and find someone to confide in. If you don’t have someone you want to trust with your feelings, it is best that you at least label your emotions for yourself. I have found that it is really helpful if you write down what your feeling so that you can describe it and then let your fears go away. Especially when we can get really sad without people surrounding us constantly, it is important that we control how we feel and realize that it is ok to express emotions.
