If you’re looking for something to stay organized (even though during quarantine the days all blur into one) and have a creative outlet, a bullet journal is perfect for you!

I started my very first bullet journal at the beginning of the year, and so far I’ve really enjoyed the whole process. I’m able to keep track of my schedule and plan things ahead of time. It’s really helped me stay on top of things and remember deadlines of assignments.

Another positive of a bullet journal is all of the creativity that goes into it. I know it might be daunting to just pick up and try, but it’s so personalized in the fact that you get to chose your own theme for the month (which could be anything) and you can be as creative as you want with your spreads. In the month of April, I did a Harry Potter theme.

I found this design on Pinterest, which is a great website to find inspiration for your bullet journal. There’s lots of content on YouTube, Pinterest, and even TikTok about bullet journaling. Here’s some YouTube channels I highly recommend taking a look at:

AmandaRachLee : She’s been posting bullet journalling videos since 2017 and is the queen of crafts and journalling. You will not be able to stop watching her videos, and will not be disappointed. I highly recommend her channel, as it was my inspiration to start my own bullet journal.

Seed Successful You : This is also another great YouTube channel, the videos aren’t as interactive as AmandaRachLee, but there’s lots of content and videos ranging from how-to videos to time lapses of her monthly and weekly spreads.

Bullet Journal : I also can’t forget to add the channel of the developer of the bullet journal. This channel covers a wide variety of topics like how the idea of bullet journalling got its start, to how it could be utilized for various aspects of your life. If you have any questions about what the essence of bullet journaling is, then I would recommend watching these videos.

If you’re having trouble finding something to do while in quarantine, I highly recommend ordering a bullet journal and getting to work! I got mine from Michaels Craft Store, but you can order them off of Amazon. If you want a really high quality one, I would check out Archer and Olive, they have really great quality journals.

Just remember to have fun with it and be creative, happy journaling!
