This blog is oriented around the idea that it is important to have motivation and a purpose for every day, especially during quarantine. Every other day, there will be a focus and message for the day. The goal is to live each day with this concept in the back of your head so that you can feel productive and uplifted throughout the rest of quarantine.

Day 6: Meditation

Meditation is a great way to find yourself in times of stress or despair. I have found that one quick session of yoga ever day or every other day has allowed me to become more willing to start the day productively. I have been able to release tension throughout my body which has benefitted me in numerous ways. Especially during times when we are isolated from each other, it is often easy to keep worries or fears bottled up. Through any form of meditation, guided or by yourself, it is crucial that you allot time to focus on yourself and your surroundings. Be mindful of yourself and your actions. Even though people might not see you right now, your actions will still impact your family and the environment around you.
