As all you fellow Gleeks know, this Tuesday (April 19) marks Glee’s return from a seriously long spring break, and a seriously (not so) shocking win at Regionals. In honor of the upcoming story arch that’ll lead up to Nationals at the end of spring, here are our Glee predictions for the upcoming episodes. Be warned: some posts may contain spoilers (or predictions that are so accurate, they might as well be!).

Night of Neglect:

Lily:
The official next episode. I’m sensing some intense Quinn-Finn-Rachel drama (there’s just no way around it) but I’m really curious as to what’s going to happen that made Mercedes into an even bigger diva than she already is… I also can’t wait until we learn more about the Legion of Doom, the group that Sue creates to take down Mr. Scheuster. I’m hoping that, since Terri’s back, she’ll have some unexpected news for Will: she’s actually pregnant this time!

Ilene:
What’s with this title, ‘Night of Neglect?’ Whose going to be neglected in the next episode? I see some Rachel being just ‘a little bit’ upset over Finn, possibly because he chooses Quinn over her…atleast for no. Either way, The new addition of Sunshine will definitely being drama.

Song selections:
Lily:
I am truly looking forward the Fleetwood Mac episode that Ryan promised us all. They’ve already proven that they can handle the rock legend nicely with their beautiful take on Landslide, and the whole theme of their album Rumours really fits with what ‘s going on in Glee right now. I also think a Taylor Swift episode would work. Can anyone else see a heart-broken Quinn serenading a Sam with “Back to December” after Finn will so obviously leave her for Rachel again? On another note, I hear a fully silent episode a-lá Buffy is coming up in May. This will either be sososo bad, or sososo wonderful. We’ll just have to watch and see…

Ilene:

What I’m really excited for is the second official ‘Lady Gaga’ episode. After the fantastic acoustic performance of Poker Face during Theatricality of season one, It will be intriguing to see what glee makes of Lady Gaga’s new releases. Likewise, rumor has it that Glee will be doing a lot of newly popular songs, including a feature from the famous Adele. I can just picture the glee club doing a very worthwhile and emotional cover of her song, ‘Rolling in the Deep.’ While I’m going to cross my fingers for that, what has definitely been promised is the return of guest star Charice Pempengco after her heated duet of telephone with Rachel. Sunshine Corazon is rumored to be doing a little Celine Dion. What drama will her return spark for the glee students?

Relationships:
Lily:
I know there is no chance that this will happen, but I want Puckelberry as endgame instead of Finchel. Rachel and Puck bring out the best in each other, which is something that Finn and Rachel lack. If they’re together, Rachel is a weak character, but if they’re apart, it’s Finn who’s weak. Either way, it’s lose-lose. Puck understands Rachel in ways that Finn doesn’t (and their duets sound so much better!) Who do I want to see Rachel with in the meantime? Sam. Yes, it might sound weird, but the two would be adorable together (not to mention all the drama they’d bring!) The only couple that’s stable is Brittany and Artie, and it looks like they won’t last with Santana’s new revelation that she’s in love with Brittany. My end-of-the-season couples? Brittana, Finchel, Quam, Lauren and Puck, Kurt <CoBlaine, and, my personal favorite, Totcedes (my shipping for Mercedes and her tots since they are the only love interests the writers have introduced…)

Ilene:
My two main ‘love hopes’ for the rest of season two currently stand as Kurt and Blaine, and Will and Emma. Though Kurt CoBlaine just recently got together, I’ve heard rumors that Ryan will be bringing back homophobic bully Dave to come to terms with his sexuality. I fear that because Dave kissed Kurt back in the beginning of the season, this may create some tension in the Kurt CoBlaine relationship. In the past episode, Schuester and Holly Holiday got together, both insanely turned on by the other. However, at the same time, Emma confessed to Holly that she still has lingered feelings for Will, which caused her husband to move out. I’m predicting a full-scale drama will erupt inside this new fiery love-triangle, and that Emma and Shuester will have some kind of ‘moment’, that re-introduces the feelings between them. Though, both of these plot lines may not appear until later in the season. As for ‘Night if Neglect’, I’m predicting some typical Rachel-Finn-Quinn drama.
