While apparently Nick Viall is not a favorite, millions of viewers such as myself have found the time to watch this season’s The Bachelor. With 7 weeks in, Nick has narrowed the number of contestants down to six girls. This means that I don’t have many choices, but like all the other viewers out there I have a prediction of who will receive the final rose.
Here is my order of favorites:
She is my first choice because I loved her from the way beginning. As an intelligent, beautiful, special education teacher, she was easy to love, but she didn’t seem like Nick’s type. However, I realized I was wrong when they shared a conspicuous connection in the first episode. She proved herself to be honest and a good influence on Nick when she confronted him about Corinne. On their first date, when he comforted her after she got sick, I realized he might be on this show for the right reasons. She would be the perfect wife for Nick because she’s funny, smart and not afraid to talk some sense into him.
Raven is very sweet and from her introduction video she wasn’t afraid to be herself. For the first date, she met his parents and hung out with his sister. While it could have been be pretty intimidating this early on, Raven handled it really well and it is easy to tell she was liked by his family. I would honestly be happy if he chooses her.
As the girl who won the first impression rose, I predicted she would be around for a long time. She has been doing very well in the competition since then, and her and Nick share a special connection. She’s my third favorite because there aren’t many problems with her, but she does speak her mind a lot and doesn’t do well on group dates.
There is no doubt that Nick genuinely likes Kristina and is keeping her around for the right reasons. She’s starting to grow on me and I found her story pretty inspiring. However, this also makes her the contestant with the biggest sob story, and while Nick was shocked by the story, it makes her seem too good for him.
She is very nice and I don’t see anything wrong with her. She’s very cool when she’s around Nick as well. But, the problem with her is that she is too boring. There’s nothing necessarily special about her or anything that stands out which decreases her chances of being the winner.
Why didn’t I choose Corinne?
While Nick is very attracted to Corinne and she has been very persistent throughout the competition, it is obvious that she was chosen for the show to spark drama. As the common enemy, she is a necessity for boosting ratings. Also, based on the preview for the next episode, I think she might go a bit too far and be sent home.
Will Nick actually end up picking a wife?
If you have not seen the last episode, Nick broke down in front of the other girls and started questioning if this was going to work out or not. There is no doubt that he’s going to end up picking someone because we need a happy ending. However, from observing Nick, there is high chance that he will choose a wife because it’s expected of him, not from the bottom of his heart.
