In this blog, The Courant reached out to various resources and opinions and asked them interesting “What If?” questions to get some answers. This week’s question addresses what some people would do in their extra free time:
“What if you could spend your life never sleeping? What would you do with the extra hours in each day?”
Jessica Cullen – English Teacher
“If I could spend my life never sleeping, I would spend more time with friends and family, and I would write Young Adult fiction books to try and become a published author.”
Zeeshan Arastu – History Teacher
“If I could spend my life never sleeping, I would spend more time gardening and reading. If I could put the hours together in a “free week” I would also travel and see the world with my family!”
Jeffrey Hague – Science Teacher
“I’d read a lot more books including lots of World War II titles and I would watch a lot of Seinfeld reruns.”
Molly Murphy- Junior Student at New Canaan High School
“I would probably spend the time cooking, making art, or taking a long bath. I can watch a lot of TV, but not enough to keep me entertained for that long, so it would be something non-digital.”
