What Do The Positions Mean?

Many people in NCHS have yet to fully understand the different parts of STUCO, particularly what the position actually do. For that reason, we’ve compiled a guide to all of the different positions and their responsibilities:

Political Board President

Handles the political matters of the class, including elections, finances and organization.

Candidates for the positions: (Class of 2016) Chloe Rosenberg and Emily Walshin/(Class of 2015) Isabel Taben, Erin Bucci, and Kyle Street

Social Board President

Handles the social matter of the class, including events (i.e. Prom, Ramstock and Homecoming), spirit days and school culture.

Candidates for the positions: (Class of 2016) Krishen Adalja and Jordan Smith/(Class of 2015) Veronica Ma

Class President

Handles the general affairs of their class and undertakes any remaining responsibilities.

Candidates for the positions: (Class of 2016) David Noonan /(Class of 2015) Charlie Sosnick/(Class of 2014) George Herde, Sophia Curiale and Caroline Muller

Student Body Treasurer

In charge of the finances for the entire Student Coalition.

Candidate: Amanda Vitale

Student Body Vice-President

Assists the Student Body President in running meetings and organizing STUCO.

Candidate: Courtney Leopold

Student Body President

Runs STUCO meetings and is in charge of the whole Student Coalition.

Candidate: Henry Greer
