The Senior Internship Portal opened on November 27. If seniors wish to participate, they must register before December 12. The deadline is December 18 for those who are self designing an internship. Parent permission slips and all other deadlines are found on the website.
During the registration process, there are a few requirements students must meet before being considered for the program. Regardless if you are self designing or not, all students need to write an essay about why they would like to participate. For those picking preselected internships through the program, they are asked to pick categories that they are interested, options ranging from jewelry making to finance. All potential interns will be interviewed by the committee in January. Heather Bianco, the head of the senior internship program, reminds all students that they need to be passing their classes with their attendance in good standing and that they should complete the registration process as soon as possible.
