The girls look to stay hot as they host their final two games of the season at home against Bridgeport Central and St. Joseph’s.

In the next game against Westhill, senior captain Fletcher Heron led the way with 16 points. The team needs one more win to qualify for the state playoffs and is eliminated from making the FCIAC playoffs.

Boys Hockey:
Boys ice hockey is heading into the homestretch on a heater winning their last eight games. Most recently the Rams have taken down Notre-Dame Fairfield 7-1 and Ridgefield 5-0. Senior Captain Max Lowe led the team in the Ridgefield game with two goals and senior Chase Pinkernell scored his first varsity goal as well. Senior Captain Doster Crowell was also able to continue his impressive season with two goals and an assist against ND Fairfield. The boys now look to end their three game losing streak with their second match up against Darien this Wednesday.

Overall Record: 14-2
FCIAC Standing: 1
Next Game: February 14 v Darien

Girls Hockey:
Girls hockey played one of their biggest matchups on the season Saturday night when they battled Darien for the second and final time this season. After losing a hard fought matchup 1-0 on January 10, the girls came in ready to avenge their loss. The first quarter was back and forth with neither team able to sneak the puck past freshman Macyn Callahan nor Darien’s JJ Maher. That would change with 13:06 left in the second quarter, when Darien’s Izzy Haire got a shot by Macyn, breaking the scoreless tie. The game would stay 1-0 for the remainder of the game. This completes the season sweep of the Rams by Darien.

Overall Record: 16-2
FCIAC Standing: 2
Next Game: Wednesday at Greenwich Academy
