Christmas tech gifts have become an immensely popular gift genre for the holiday season. In our modern world, the tech industry has become a widespread part of our everyday lives, and therefore tech gifts have become extremely practical. These gifts feature smart technology to enhance everyday life and are accessible to all ages.

They provide many benefits, for example, the Apple Watch is useful for tracking fitness, such as one’s heart rate. It serves as a mini phone as well, phone calls and texts can be made from this tiny device. The price is reasonable at $199 dollars and is a beneficial modernized watch. A poll asking students about Christmas Tech gifts, including the apple watch, a portable JBL speaker, the hatch alarm, google nest hub, and AirPod pros, proved that about 10% are asking for an apple watch for the holiday season.

The Portable JBL Speaker  proved to be the most popular desired gift with 40% of students wanting it for the holidays. This is primarily due to its multiple features as a speaker, for example, its wireless connection, being waterproof, and the state of the art sound system, priced at $139.

The Hatch Alarm has become increasingly popular recently among students with 35% wanting it, due to its ability to improve sleep health. The hatch alarm system features multiple ways to help fall asleep, for example meditation, calming background noises, and sleep stories. The list goes on, as this alarm wakes people gently to a calming rhythm and does not require phone controls.

AirPod pros  prove to be a high tech version of Apple’s regular AirPods due to its noise cancellation system, wireless system, higher volume opportunities, and customizable fit. These AirPods can be used for work calls or even just listening to music without the background noises being a disruption and provide a very focused environment, proved through 10 percent of students hoping to acquire them for the holidays.

The last popular Christmas tech gift of this year is the Google Nest Hub , which blends into one’s home and is extremely useful for organization. This system carries a calendar that reminds its user with tasks and also provides simple information such as the weather. The google nest hub is more popular among adults and therefore only stands with 5% of students asking for it. These gifts align with any interests a person has and can benefit their lives, whether it’s through tracking their health, or listening to music with noise cancellation, all prove to enhance connectivity.
