Feeling down because your Twitter feed regurgitates the same boring hashtags and school-related complaints? Are memes and trends just not funny enough anymore? After recently joining the Twitter community, I realized this problem was popping up after the first 20 followers did not quench my Twitter expectations. I have been asked that questions approximately 1,213, 545 times. The pool of those who have inquired include fellow students, close friends, strangers, teachers, and my own parents. My answer, a simple “no,” often produces a fierce barrage of insistence:

Twitter is used as a social media web-site for saying what is on your mind, getting the latest celebrity gossip and following famous people who we look up to. But now, our library has implemented Twitter into freshmen’s routine of schoolwork and getting up to date on school news.
