Orchestra experiences contemporary music at Carnegie Hall

At 7:30 on Friday night, the orchestra attended the concert, “Orchestra Underground: A Time and Place” at Carnegie Hall. It was the second show of three this season and directed by George Manahan. The show featured five pieces, four of them world premieres, and was played in the series, or overall theme, of “time and place.”
