The day after Thanksgiving, the stores and malls update their playlists from today’s pop hits to the carols of the holidays. But, it is not just the malls; students at NCHS have also dusted off their holiday playlists in preparation for this holiday season.

As the singles of summer have faded, sophomore Ellie Garrett is more than excited for the new music coming out this fall. “One Direction’s new album Take Me Home is released this November!” she said. “I’m getting it Oct. 8 because I specially ordered it from the U.K.”
One Direction is not the only one with new music; fall marks the season for album releases from top artists in the alternative, country, pop and electronic genres. September starts off the trend with new albums throughout the month in all these genres.
