As the new school year begins, college-bound seniors are buckling down to get good first semester grades, meet application deadlines and actually get in to college. High test-scores and GPAs are not their only worries, however – keeping up a good online reputation has become more and more important with the ever-growing technology.

College touring made easy (or at least less painful)

A few years ago “college” was merely a distant milestone, a backdrop for summer comedies, and perhaps your father’s favorite nostalgic topic. But now, as my fellow seniors and I plunge into the application process, “college” has lost its quotation marks and has become a serious reality. And like most serious realities, it is not always a walk in the quad.So, for the sake of my peers’ mental health, I have made a list of a few observations and guidelines for the inevitable family college tour.

But for these athletes, summer is not just a vacation: it is also a training session to prepare for them for their upcoming chapter as a college athlete.

How Romney Can Win The Election

Its official: the presidential race is all tied up. Recent polls have put President Obama and Governor Romney in a tight race, with polls showing their leads within the margin of error or tied. However, even though the popular vote is extremely tight, the electoral college map at this point heavily favors President Obama. If the election was held today, Obama would win the electoral college 294 to Governor Romney’s 244.

For those who love playing the game but don’t find being a member of an official college team an option, club sports provide a fun and competitive alternative.
