Boys basketball — This week holds two must-win home games, with the team pushing to make the state tournament.
- Monday, 2/24, 7:00 pm vs Staples: NC 64 – Staples 61, Senior co-captain Alex Gibbens scored 22 points in first game back from injury
- Wednesday, 2/26, 7:00 pm vs Bridgeport Central: NC 70, BC: 46. It was the rams’ senior night.
Girls basketball — The girls are off this week in preparation for the Class L CIAC tournament, starting next week. The girls’ first game will be on Tuesday against E. O. Smith High School.
Boys hockey — After finishing their best regular season since 2010 with an impressive 17-2-1 record, the boys are getting ready for FCIACs. Since they earned the one scene, the boys will have a bye first round and play on Wednesday, 3/4.
Girls hockey — With a successful regular season, the girls look to an FCIAC championship, with an easy win during their semifinal home game Wednesday night. This will be their third consecutive trip to the FCIAC championship, against rival Darien on Saturday at Darien Ice House at 3:50.
