Tuesday, Oct. 8, was High Society day, where students came to school dressed to the nines and in their Sunday best. While some students took the preppy route, with Ralph Lauren sweaters and tennis whites, others came in prom dresses, wedges and pearls. Boys could also be seen sporting button downs, dress shirts, ties and even blazers.
Junior Elizabeth Miller feels that High Society day isn’t a change from her normal attire. “I like it because I can dress normally, because I dress like this most of the time,” she said.
Senior Andrew Penchuck, however, sees the changes in people’s wardrobes for the occasion. “It’s fun to see everyone dressed up,” he said. “It’s a good day because it mixes everything up throughout the week. You can add your own swing on it because every other day you’re dressed similarly to your friends.”
