Wednesday, Oct. 9. was Costume day. Students could come to school dressed in any costume of their choice; many decide to form groups and arrive dressed in the same attire. A popular favorite, students come up with costumes of varying themes, decades, and characters every year.
Sophomore Kristen Weisenseel. who dressed up as a snorkeler, looks forward to Costume day because she gets to see what everyone comes up with. “I like clone day because everyone gets to express their creativity,” she said.
Sophomore Kelsey Krolikowski similarly enjoys the surprise of seeing what everyone wears to school. “It’s really fun dressing up with your friends and getting to see what everyone else dresses up as,” she said.
For senior Collin Reik, was a crash test dummy,Costume Day is the highlight of the homecoming week festivities. “It’s a fun relief from the normal school week,” he said. “It’s my favorite day in spirit week.”
