Are you pretty little KIDDING ME?! Not even the producers of PLL have a clue what’s going on with this soon to be cancelled ABC Family “thriller.” Get ready for your weekly moment with Mon”A” my PLL minions, this one’s a killer.
Spencer was finally released from Radley, can’t decide whether that was a safe choice on ABC Fam’s part…and her parents threw her a “welcome back” party (wonder what the neighbors thought about that.) But has she really joined Team A or is she still with the fab four? Well one thing is for sure, Toby is ALIVE. After a little meet and greet in the diner, we found out not only is Toby alive for reals this time, but Spencer was spotted in a black hoodie, that’s right, team A status. Yet don’t let this fashion decision make you think it’s for real, Spencer appears to be a double…triple agent, and so is her boy toy Tobs!
While Mona thinks she’s got the little liars wrapped around her finger and now has a team to back her up, little does she know that Spencer was secretly working against her to figure out who “red coat” was. And who is “red coat??” Nobody knows. Total sidenote: Remember when Mona was in Radley and met with “red coat”? (I’ve got the pic to prove it) Either ABC Family doesn’t know what script their following anymore, or Mona is a really good liar…HMM?!? #PLLProblems
I know what you’re thinking, can we really trust Toby? But more importantly, can we trust Hanna as a babysitter? Aside from ending his lovey-dovey relationship with Aria, Ezra decided it would be a grand idea to let his ex’s BFF babysit the baby Fitz. Did you not learn anything the last time one of these liars played nanny? You’re child was KIDNAPPED! By their own friend! (Yeah that black hooded “A” was Spence, crazy right?) And on top of that, Fitz made a return to Rosewood High, good luck with that Aria.
Team “A” aside, let’s talk about Team J, Jenna. Where was she these past few episodes? Well whatever, she’s back, and working up a scheme with Melissa and Shana (Paige’s ex/Emily’s “friend” and now Jenna’s…girlfriend? They were holding hands… ) Something just doesn’t seem right about that mix.
But let’s talk about what really left a spark this episode, which is that somebody tried to burn the little liars, and I dont just mean girl’s style. These girls almost went up in flames this finale, but a special someone pulled them out just in time, unfortunately they also pulled out Mona…great. Except it’s still up in the air if redcoat is Alison, or was that just a hallucination from the girls? No it has to be real, ugh this show is just like Inception.
And guess what also made a return this episode? Wilden’s creepy police car, so I guess sinking it didn’t really work, Hanna? And what’s in the trunk that made all the girls nearly choke on their gum?! I can only imagine, but I’m going with dead body for 500? Guess we’ll have to wait till next season. It’s been real my little liars, just remember if there’s one thing we learned from this show, it is that keeping a secret never lasts, and black hoodies are so out of season (kick it up a notch “A.”)
