If your eyes weren’t glued to your TV last night during PLL, I really don’t know what you’re doing with your life. But no worries, I’ve got the recap.
After last week’s unforgettable episode with Meredith’s paranormal behavior, ABC Family decided to provide us with a little break from all the chaos. Yet that doesn’t mean this week wasn’t eventful, actually, it was the complete opposite. As usual, “A” was up to their sneaky tricks, this time hacking into Aria’s phone and convincing Spencer to confront Ezra after believing the two broke up. As if dating her blackmailer wasn’t enough, Spence spills the beans about Ezra’s son, leaving Aria to have some explaining to do after keeping Maggie’s secret for so long. Silly girl, don’t you know secrets never last…especially on this show.
On the other side of Rosewood, Hanna gets a drink thrown at her at a lesbian bar (who would have seen that coming?). However, it’s not what you think. Hanna stumbles upon Paige and Caleb’s plot to stop Mona and the rest of the A-gang, which leads her to the club to spy on Paige. While Hanna was left cleaning up her shirt from the “pink drink” thrown at her, Spencer was still in tears over her break with Toby. Don’t worry Hastings, we don’t expecting you to date a member of the A team, unless its Ed Sheeran of course.
While I was entirely convinced that Spencer’s mysterious text buddy was Toby, it happened to be a top secret meet and greet with a…PI of some sort to discover where the ‘A’ key will lead.
And what about Emily? She receives a box of Ali’s goodies, including her notebook that explained the possibility of…(DRUM ROLL PLEASE) Ali being pregnant?! Not gonna lie, there was bound to be a teen pregnancy featured in this show…classic ABC Family. But this just leads to more questions of who Ali’s killer was. Definitely the “Beach Cutie.” Also, what role in Ali’s death and/or the A-team does Detective Wilden play? He was clearly around Ali and CeCe that summer…hmm fishy…As usual the episode ended with a creepy A-scene that included burning Hanna doll’s head. Normal, right? This show gives me complete goosebumps, and while the question of who the KILLER is and if Ali is even dead is still up in the air, I guess we’ll just have to wait till next week to see what’s in store for the Liars.
