Starting in September of this coming school year, a new method of entering grades and assignments will be put into place at NCHS. In hopes of diminishing problems that come up between teachers, parents and students, this new form of Powerschool will let students and parents view assignments that teachers put in their grade books online.

The 53rd annual Senior Post Prom headed by post prom committee members Colleen Baldwin and Sharon Driscoll will be held tonight at Waveny as a final memory for the class of 2012. With games, prizes and a top secret theme the post prom tradition carries on, acting as a safe place for seniors and their dates can finish the night.

On May 18, students took a break from their homework and gathered in the gym from 7:00- 9:00 p.m. to support the Student Coalition’s (StuCo) annual Ramstock. The winners will be announced tomorrow.
This year’s lineup included current students and staff as well as a New Canaan alumni band, “Love Via Dance Machine”, who are recently coming off their tour with Drake Bell. This band features NCHS alumni Alex Badanes, along with bandmates Jimmy Coberly, Izaiah Yelle and Wiley Esten.

Let’s all be real, waking up on Monday morning to start off a new week at the hellfire we so endearingly call NCHS is already enough of a bane on a teenager’s existence. In fact, it’s most comparable to the levels of inferno only Dante has enough literary skill and cynicism to describe.
