Its official: the presidential race is all tied up. Recent polls have put President Obama and Governor Romney in a tight race, with polls showing their leads within the margin of error or tied. However, even though the popular vote is extremely tight, the electoral college map at this point heavily favors President Obama. If the election was held today, Obama would win the electoral college 294 to Governor Romney’s 244.

The annual Senior Art Show “Departure” will open tomorrow night with a student-run grand opening from 6-8. Seniors could either contribute 12-15 pieces of art to the exhibit as a collection of their favorite pieces or submit 1-3 pieces of art instead. The portraits, logo, nIame, food, set-up, disassembly, and mailing for the show were all organized by the participants.

Stop fighting the urge to share an embarrassing selfie with your friends for fear it will end up public: with Snapchat, you can send any picture instantly to another user and set the amount of time, from one to ten seconds, that the photo is visible. After that time limit is up, the picture is erased forever. The person who sent the picture is alerted if the receiver tries to take a screenshot, so no worries about any photos ending up on Facebook or Twitter.
This year, to fill courses more effectively, class registration was, for the first time, online. Not only did students have more time to select classes through their PowerSchool accounts, introduced last year for online access to grades and attendance, the administration and guidance department now have more accurate computerized data to better facilitate student demand.
