Tonight, September 12th at 6:30 PM, the 2013 NCHS Summer Art Exhibition will be opening to coincide with this year’s Parents Night.
For the past two weeks the Gallery Committee and Art Faculty Advisors, Lisa Floryshak-Windman, Jeanne McDonagh and Jennifer Sinski, have been planning and putting together the exhibition in the NCHS lobby.
Each year both students and faculty contribute pieces of mixed-media art created over the summer, whether during free time, in art classes, or at art Pre- college programs. The exhibition will also be featuring pieces from this year’s Bernice Dopkin Hall Summer Art Scholarship winners, including Seniors Marykate Conron, Mckenna Crowley, Olivia Healy, and Bryn Pennetti.
