Holiday DIY disastrous attempt #2

Holiday DIY disastrous attempt #2

I wish I could say that my second holiday DIY went as well as the first one, but it did not. I found this “geometric snowman” project on  MiniEco.com and thought it’d be easy since it was a print-out. All I needed was a sheet of paper, scissors, glue, and tape.

If I though it would be easy, I was slightly mistaken. The first part, assembling the head, wasn’t too difficult though and didn’t turn out too badly. Surprisingly, it looked a lot like the website’s version

Unfortunately, the snowman’s body did not go as well. After taking my precious time on the head, I wasn’t quite as patient with the body. The effects of me rushing definitely showed, as the figure I produced was crumpled, dented, and covered in tape.

It’s safe to say that what seemed like an optimistic outcome was not fulfilled, and poor Frosty unfortunately ended up in the trash. His torso was to crushed, his nose ended up dripping super glue everywhere, and I could only connect his head to his body with an unsightly amount of tape. I knew my luck with crafts wouldn’t last too long, and this was the disastrous proof.
