Dr. Luizzi addresses the concerns:
  1. The end of the quarter is now 11/13.
  2. Teachers also are struggling in the aftermath of the storm, and will be sensitive to the needs of students who have been affected.
  3. We will not have a homeroom to start the day, but I will make announcements with some information first thing in the morning.
  4. Right now, it looks like we will start on time – but, given the oncoming storm and the uncertain weather conditions, that could change any moment.  Please check the news outlets tomorrow morning to be sure.
  5. We will have a special schedule tomorrow.  There are two versions, one if we have a delay and one if we start at our regular time.  Again, it currently looks like we are starting on time, but that can change.
  6. FCIAC schedules have been adjusted, and the adjustments should be reflected on www.ncrams.com – essentially, our field hockey team played today, our boys soccer is scheduled to play on Thursday, and football will play on Friday against Stamford.
  7. Colleges have been contacted by the College Board and governors from CT and NJ and many have adjusted their dates for Early Decision and Early Action.  Specific questions can be addressed to the school counselors tomorrow.
  8. Since we’ve lost 6 days of school already, if we have more than one snow day it is likely we will have to take time away from a vacation.  On our district calendar it says that we would take from the April vacation.  The Board of Education will be deciding upon the best course of action at its upcoming meetings.
