My name is Dolly Meckler, and I am your Student Body President. I’m
now working with the Courant as a “Coalition Blogger.” We want to keep
everyone aware and involved, so we thought this was a great way to get
everyone updated. The Student Coalition (StuCo) and I have been
working very hard to get this week’s homecoming in order. We organize
everything from which spirit days we have to the little cups of water everyone drinks at homecoming is delivered.
At this week’s meeting, we discussed all the finishing touches needed for
spirit week and all the festivities.
The three spirit days are Clone Day, Turn Back the Clock Day and Red
and Black Day. Students should make good and appropriate choices when
making decisions. The lounge decorations on Thursday will be judged by
Mr. Hague, Ms. Moonan and Mr. Webb and will be kept up all day. Spirit
week will finish up with a great student run bon fire on Friday night
from 6:00-7:30 there will be pizza, popcorn, water, and hot cocoa will
be served. NCHS bands will be playing, and we will even have a fire
juggler this year.
Homecoming tickets and t-shirts will be sold this week, so make sure
you buy them!
