Athlete of the Week- Kevin Macari

After three touchdowns and 121 total yards against Wilton last week, Kevin jumped to the fourth most overall career TD’s in NCHS history with 17. This past Friday, November 5th, Kevin did not fail to entertain, receiving four touchdowns, including a 71 yard pick six against Greenwich. Kevin is the athlete of the week for his performance against Greenwich on both sides of the ball.

Macari and Milano lead Rams past Greenwich, 42-20

After last year’s last minute 35-34 victory over the Greenwich Cardinals, tensions were running high going into last Friday night’s rematch with Greenwich, as were expectations for another memorable game. However, this year’s matchup wasn’t much of a thriller, as the Rams dominated Greenwich at Dunning Stadium, winning by a score of 42-20.

Rams pummel Wilton for homecoming victory, 43-7

After last week’s heartbreaking loss to St. Joseph’s, the Rams not only moved down in the FCIAC standings, but their spirits were down, too. They knew they couldn’t get revenge on St. Joe’s, so instead they took their anger out on the Wilton Warriors. Dominating them in almost every facet of the game, the Rams stormed to a 43-7 victory on Saturday afternoon at Dunning Stadium.

Today marks the end of Spirit Week and the end of a week of outrageous outfits, great laughs, and good memories. With this afternoon’s pep rally and tonight’s bonfire, we are preparing ourselves for the culmination of the entire concept of Homecoming, the homecoming football game, also known as, the biggest game of the year.
