We’re about three weeks removed from Opening Day, but the baseball season is still in its infancy. That means we’ve got enough time left to make some predictions.

AL East- New York Yankees. The Yankees didn’t have any big signings over the winter, but they did make a few beneficial moves. The AL East will be very competitive, but the Yankees are the best team. C.C Sabathia anchors the rotation, and Mark Teixera, Curtis Granderson, and Alex Rodriguez are part of a strong lineup. Granderson and Jeter are on fire thus far, each with an OPS over 1.000.

NCAA March Madness part III

The second weekend of the NCAA tournament gave us a great slate of games. Every single one of the 12 games was entertaining in its own way. There are now just four teams that are left: Kentucky, Louisville, Ohio State, and Kansas. There are no more mid majors left in the field. Just the big boys. The four teams have combined for 49 final four appearances. That’s a ridiculous number.

Before we look ahead to this weekend, let’s look back at this past weekend and what we learned:
