Anime Club holds video game fundraiser

Wednesday February 24th, the Anime Club held a Super Smash Bros. tournament in the lounge to raise money for Haiti. Students who attended the event played against each other in the video game on a large-screen projection. According to the club’s president, senior Katrina Mondonedo, “It was really successful. AP Registration ends March 1st

Registration for AP tests in the College and Career Center ends 3/1. The test is for students who are currently enrolled in AP courses and wish to get AP credit.

Professional Development Day

While students are enjoying their first day of winter break on Friday, teachers and faculty will be attending their semi-annual department party known as Professional Development Day. For four days out of the year, New Canaan teachers get together to work on new skills, focus on curricular issues, listen to speakers, and watch presentations done by faculty members.
