As the singles of summer have faded, sophomore Ellie Garrett is more than excited for the new music coming out this fall. “One Direction’s new album Take Me Home is released this November!” she said. “I’m getting it Oct. 8 because I specially ordered it from the U.K.”
One Direction is not the only one with new music; fall marks the season for album releases from top artists in the alternative, country, pop and electronic genres. September starts off the trend with new albums throughout the month in all these genres.

More recently, Henna ink has replaced the Crayola markers as the new medium for summer art.

Being a Counselor in Training (CIT), I also kept a job half the day at the painting studio where I worked helping children paint and draw in a variety of medias.
