The drama department’s new motto: #YOLOklahoma!

Strap on your dancing shoes and mosey on down to Middle America for the new spring musical, “Oklahoma!”, written by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein. Set in Oklahoma Territory in 1906, “Oklahoma!” tells the love story of cowboy Curly McLain, played by senior Andrew Gruseke, and his relationship with farmer Laurey Williams, played by senior Ali Rusch. Cast member junior Emma Urban, described the play as, “A comedy that has a very dark side to it as well.”

Senior art show “Departure” to take place tomorrow evening

The annual Senior Art Show “Departure” will open tomorrow night with a student-run grand opening from 6-8. Seniors could either contribute 12-15 pieces of art to the exhibit as a collection of their favorite pieces or submit 1-3 pieces of art instead. The portraits, logo, nIame, food, set-up, disassembly, and mailing for the show were all organized by the participants.
