Courant Reporter Ian Nicholas interviewed a pair of NCHS State-Championship winning head coaches to talk about the current status of the CIAC Winter sports season. The guests include Danny Melzer of boys basketball and Rich Bulan of girls hockey.
Currently, the Winter season’s start date has been postponed until January 19th, 2021. The two coaches discussed how the CIAC’s decision has affected their mindset, their team’s mindset, and how their players are dealing with the possibility of wearing masks during play this upcoming season.
