Boys swimming is looking forward to this upcoming season hoping for a winning season after placing fifth in FCIACs last year. The team will be lead both in and out of the pool by senior co-captains Matt Riley, Eli Litchman, and Sean Davidson, who are anxious to lead their team to the finals, despite losing a few good seniors the past two years.

.looks forward to competing with and beating many teams such as Darien. “A lot of teams, including us, have lost some good swimmers so every meet is really going to be a toss up,” Eli said. “But we definitely want to tackle some big teams and try to come up with some big wins.”

The team is also planning on improving with a different training schedule that aims to personalize the experience for individual swimmers. “It’s more geared towards what people’s strengths and weaknesses are in order to give them a stronger outcome in their times and skill level on the team,” Matt said.

With the season starting up again Matt, Eli and Sean look to lead their team to FCIACs and bounce back after placing below their expectations in the tournament last year. “We have a great group this year and I’m excited to take them to the next level,” Matt said.

The team’s first meet is on Wednesday, December 17 vs. Trumbull at 4:00 pm at Trumbull.
