On Saturday, the 23 seeded boys soccer team lost to #5, Brookfield 3-2 in the class L state championship game. At the end of the first half, the boys were up 2-0 with goals from senior captains Henry Richardson and Nick Housdin. However, even with a tremendous play from freshman goalie, Scott Levene, three goals were let up in the second half, two of them in a span of two minutes, and the third coming in the last three minutes of the game. The team was unable to tie it up. After this Cinderella run in the State tournament, the boys finished the season at 10-8-2.
