Along with schools all across the country, New Canaan High School staged a school walkout in solidarity for the 17 victims of the Stoneman Douglas shooting on February 14th. After seeing posts on social media, junior, Emily Shizari, contacted Emily Dowdle, in hopes to include NCHS in the national walkout. Here’s a short behind the scenes of the preperation that went into making the walkout happen.
