Hi, I’m Sophie, and I am a reporter for the courant! I love being outdoors, whether it’s hiking, going to the beach, nature walks, or just being outside with my dogs and family. I think that’s why I love blogs so much because I can take snippets from my life and piece them together. A fun fact about me is that I have kept a life diary since the third grade, and I write in it almost every day (at least once a week). Writing down my feelings and emotions has honestly helped me grow as a person. I think that is why I have always loved creative writing and personal narratives so much! My second favorite form of journalistic writing would have to be opinion pieces. I love running, and I play golf also. My hopes for next year are to help more with blogs and opinion pieces. I also want to start a podcast forum on the Courant webpage because you can listen to them on the go!
