Making its comeback, the chic, boho look has been appearing more and more in the city. Women layer extra-large, distressed sweaters and open cardigans over lacey, detailed tights. Stacks of wrap bracelets cover wrists and long, charmed necklaces embody the chicness of this outfit. Tousled hair, knee-high boots, and dazed eyes finish off the look. There are no rules to this not-so-new trend, but here are some guidelines so you don’t look like a hobo instead of so boho.

Menswear and over-sized sweaters are huge this season because of their versatility and warmth. These pieces can be dressed up or down and are very appropriate for school (especially when the teacher refuses to turn on the heater). Over-sized sweaters can be worn with pretty much anything—a skirt, dress, jeans, tights, knee-highs, body-cons.
