Bohemian: Is it fashion or overkill?

Making its comeback, the chic, boho look has been appearing more and more in the city. Women layer extra-large, distressed sweaters and open cardigans over lacey, detailed tights. Stacks of wrap bracelets cover wrists and long, charmed necklaces embody the chicness of this outfit. Tousled hair, knee-high boots, and dazed eyes finish off the look. There are no rules to this not-so-new trend, but here are some guidelines so you don’t look like a hobo instead of so boho.

These pieces can be dressed up or down and are very appropriate for school (especially when the teacher refuses to turn on the heater). Over-sized sweaters can be worn with pretty much anything—a skirt, dress, jeans, tights, knee-highs, body-cons.
